Recently Ben does not enjoy pants...or shirts for that matter. But he especially hates pants. He DOES, however, love his Bob the Builder pullups, fire engine shoes (complete with flashing lights) and truck socks. What a boy.
Ben and Lily are changing school days from Tuesday and Thursday to Monday, Wednesday and Friday AND they are moving to the next room up (2.5 yr - 3 yr olds) for the new school year. They have really enjoyed being in their class with Miss Raven, Miss Swati, and Miss Anna, but are looking forward to being a part of Miss Morgan's class now. They will have added emphasis on potty training and will be in a more open environment (no more baby gates for these two!) - we think they'll do fine. Here they are with their backpacks getting ready to head off.
You heard it here first - Ben and Lily are rock stars. Favorite hits include "Fruit Salad," "Hot Potato," "Happy Birthday" and "Yellow Submarine." Coming to a town near you soon. For now, enjoy a jam session...warning, this one has a sad ending (don't worry, she's ok) - we're sure they'll keep rockin' despite the mishaps.
Here Ben's first shiner - it probably won't be the last. This one came about because Ben was so excited to see Daddy pick him and Lily up from school that he scrambled off a picnic table in the school playground a little too quickly and knocked his eye on the side of the table. Ouch! He sure looks tough, doesn't he?
