Meeting Elizabeth Edwards in Silicon Valley

Today, I was lucky to be able to meet Elizabeth Edwards, along with the other writers of Silicon Valley Moms Blog. It was an enlightening hour - Elizabeth seems very down to earth and a regular person. The fact that she is battling cancer and still on the road campaigning with her husband strikes a big chord with me. I applaud her choice to live out this adventure. And I feel that she and her husband take their Universal Healthcare agenda very seriously due to this personal experience.

SV Moms' goal is to meet with all of the candidates (or their spouses) - maybe Hillary (or Bill) next. We'll see....that would be exciting to me. Hillary did the commencement address at my college graduation, so I sort of feel like I already know her :) I am definitely undecided at this point, but it is interesting to get into politics a little bit more through the SV Moms venue.
