We celebrated Jeff's 35th birthday with family and friends in the backyard. There were tons of kids, great food, and a delicious cake. He is very excited that he gets to have a mid-life crisis - Hello convertible! Happy 35th, Jeff!!!

Good Friends

Although this photo is a little fuzzy, I really love it. Here are Lily, Sarah, Emily and Ben taking a walk down the road at Oak Meadow Park - they are on their way to two of their favorite things, the steam train and the carousel. We are just missing our good buddy Aiden today!  

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Yes, its true - we like to dress up for our holidays. Ok, maybe it is an excuse to buy new cute kids clothes (I resist as often as I can, but come on, I'm human). This year's St. Patrick's Day was much less about green beer (aw, those were the days! Remember finding ourselves dancing up on a speaker a few years ago at the King's Head, Jeff, Marya, Robert, Steve, Meghan?) and more about the simple act of wearing green and feeling very lucky to have all these little leprechauns.

You've come a long way from the kitchen sink baby! Those sink days were nice, but the crazy splashy hands made such a mess. This is MUCH better...

Hammocking

We love our hammock. I got it for Jeff a couple of years ago for Father's Day. Ava likes to hang out in it and climb up the ropes, swing, and hang upside down. Jeff, Ben and Lily often pile in it on the weekends with a little radio and listen to music, ballgames or whatever. Ahhhh.... this is one of the best things about spring.

Ava reads books

One of Ava's favorite activities lately is reading books. The process involves selecting just the right book from the bookcase in her room. A satisfying "boom" can be heard with every book that is discarded in favor of the chosen one.
