One of the cool things that happens at Explorer Parent Participation Preschool is that every year the parents in each class put together a "memory book" (scrapbook) of the class' year. It has pages for each child, each teacher and all the fun events and everyday moments that happen during the year. Yes, it is work! But I am pretty excited about it...especially now that I'm done with my pages! Nothing like having a deadline (it was today and I just finished mine). So here are my pages - Ben, Lily, Fun in the Sun, and Water Play.
I decided to do them digitally with Adobe Photoshop (like Robin and I did Dad's 70th birthday album last year), rather than use the $100s of materials I have sitting in my garage for scrapbooking. It is faster, I can crop photos the way I want to, easily add text, and change it all around if I change my mind. Each family gets a copy of the assembled memory book at the end of the year. I can't wait to see the finished product and for Ben and Lily to have such a great and personalized momento from their year in the Tuesday/Thursday class at Explorer.
